What it is

“The Robot Builds Me” is both our mascot and our motto, which showcases the skills and qualities we learn throughout the FIRST program. It is a compilation of testimonials from members of FIRST teams, coaches, mentors, alumni and others.

What it means

FIRST Robotics has affected people in unimaginable ways. Those who participate are not just tech-nerds and geeks. Those who participate are people who have found a group of like-minded individuals to call family. People who came to robotics to learn engineering or fill a spot on a college resume; found friends, experience and potential in themselves. Our team does more than teach you how to use a wrench or how to write a paper. We learn to use immeasurable skills. These abilities go beyond just the classroom and workshop; they transfer to daily life. It is a compilation of testimonials from members of FIRST teams, coaches, mentors, alumni and others.
