Our Leadership Team at Liberty Robotics is set up in a Cs' and Leads. We try to have our students be as hands on with the robot and with the decisions of the team.

Mechanical Team: Lead by Aubrey Grote

  • Manages mechanical aspects of the robot
  • Designs/maintains robot cart

Electrical Team: Lead by Hunter Ekern

  • Responsible for wiring of robot
  • Designs/maintains battery box
  • Ensures batteries full-charge status

Programming Team: Lead by Aleyah Borsutzky

  • Creates and maintains program for robot
  • Maintains documentation of program for robot

CAD Team: Lead by Brennan Hartman

  • Designs robot and sends it to Mechanical team
  • Submits Excellence in Design Award
  • Documents Design Process

Machining Team: Lead by Codey Peterson

  • Creates custom parts to be used for robot
  • Uses CNC, mill, and other machinery

Drive/Strategy Team: TBD

  • Drives robot
  • Practice and strategize driving robot
  • Drives team robot at competitions
  • Creates strategies for how to maneuver and drive the robot during competition
  • Takes the data taken from Competition Scouting team

Business Team: Lead by Sienna Stark

  • Creates and maintains Business Plan
  • In charge of writing the speech for the Impact Award
  • Managing team's budget

    Website Team: Lead by Aleyah Borsutzky

    • Creates and maintains website
    • Responsible for website submission

    Graphic Design Team: Lead by Sienna Stark

    • Creates promotional materials
    • Designs team graphics
    • Assist Scout Lead with robot information sheet creation and maintenance

    Cinematography Team: Lead by Sienna Stark

    • Ensures each event is successfully recorded
    • Helps create the end of year video that highlights build and competition season
    • Creates promotional videos for KLHS and other TV carriers

    Social Media Team: Lead by Abby Jayroe

    • Manages social accounts (Twitter/X, Facebook, Tiktok, YouTube, and Instagram)
    • Posts updates on Team

    Logistics

    Pit/Field Team: TBD

    • Builds practice field and components
    • Manages and organizes all pit items
    • Maintains pit schedule
    • Maintains/updates pit plans

    Safety Captain: Lead by Sophia Phillips

    • Responsible for team safety protocols
    • Monitors student safety performance
    • Coordinates safety training and knowledge assessments
    • Coordinates safety outreach efforts

    Pit Scouting: TBD

    • Creates scouting forms for team pertinent to Pit Scouting interviews
    • Compiles all Pit Scouting interviews forms
    • Works in cooperation with drivers and Competition Scouting team for alliance selection
    • May represent the team in alliance selection in cooperation with Competition Scouting team
    • Both teams create and maintain robot scouting cards in conjunction with graphic design team.
    • Compiles information regarding other teams’ robots and game strategy

    Competition Scouting Team: TBD

    • Creates scouting forms for team pertinent to the observation of qualifying matches
    • Compiles all observation forms from qualifying matches
    • Works in cooperation with drivers and Pit Scouting team for alliance selection
    • May represent the team in alliance selection in cooperation with Competition Scouting team
    • Both teams create and maintain robot scouting cards in conjunction with graphic design team.
    • Compiles information regarding other teams’ robots and game strategy
